Master the Art of Dance
Dance classes are held Monday to Friday at our studio in Balcatta. Weekend sessions are held at our nearby Warwick studio.
Our dance instructors are fully trained and highly skilled in their chosen style. They will show you the basics, help you learn the moves, and even teach you live performance etiquette. Our musical theatre classes will also teach you how to sing, dance, and act in some of the greatest Broadway Shows like Hair Spray, Wicked, and Legally Blonde.
Private lessons are available to those who wish to learn a routine or style in the privacy of a one-on-one setting. This is an ideal choice for tertiary students, small groups of friends, and couples who want to prepare for their first dance as newlyweds.
For children as young as 18 months, the little bopper’s class is a wonderful introduction to dance. Here, children learn the basic steps of dancing, how to count music, develop coordination, and learn discipline. On top of this, these classes can help boost confidence and social skills in young children. Students can also progress to more advanced classes when they are ready.

Why Choose JMDC?
Here are just a few reasons why aspiring dancers, young and old, choose JMDC as their preferred dance studio.
Since opening in 1976, JMDC has taught many generations of dancers. In fact, some of our current dance instructors were once students. And it’s common for former students, now parents, to return years later and enrol their children for dance lessons.
Dance on your own terms-
